     *Viking is hosting a group of social influencers on board Lyon & Provence from Avignon to Lyon on May 29. Dubbed #VikingSocial, this 8-day itinerary (May 29-June 5) is new for 2016 and sails the scenic Saône and Rhône Rivers through the beautiful French countryside, with stops including: the famed region of Beaujolais; the colorful fields of Provence; Gallo-Roman ruins in Vienne; the cobblestone streets of Arles that inspired Vincent van Gogh; Avignon, the “City of Popes;” and Lyon’s winemaking traditions and world-famous regional cuisine.
*Influencers are asked to maintain a steady cadence of social posts during the trip using #VikingSocial.
*Six members have been selected by Viking for this incredible media opportunity.


Viking will cover the cost of the cruise and economy airfare. All meals, the Silver Spirits beverage package and all optional excursions are also included. If the participant arranges their airfare to arrive/depart when the cruise begins/ends, they will also receive transportation to and from the airport.

Viking allows journalists to bring guests and the cost of their cruise is covered, but the guest must pay for their own airfare (which can be purchased at Viking’s discounted industry rate).
