Jen Pollack Bianco
Jen Pollack Bianco is a West Coast-based award-winning travel photographer, writer, and travel blogger who runs the multi-media travel diary, My Life’s A Trip. An expert at marrying pop culture and travel, Jen has visited 83 countries. She has flown to Iceland for a Foo Fighters concert and jetted to Pyongyang, North Korea to see the Mass Games. After writing blog posts for The Huffington Post and Tablet Hotels Tablet Talk Blog My Life's a Trip was started as Jen's attempt to share her travel experiences with a wider, digital audience, as well as be transparent about travel as the lifestyle choice she's been living for the past 15 years.
Jen is a member of International Food & Wine Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA), Professional Travel Bloggers Association (PTBA), and International Association of Professional Online Travel Journalists. She is also at the forefront of the budding mobile photography movement. Her mobile photography has been featured on prominent websites, as well as displayed in galleries in Miami, New York, Berkeley, Berlin and Seattle. Her travel images recently were on display at Art Basel Miami 2012. She has received two iPhone Photo Awards in the 2012 (travel and lifestyle categories), and in June 2013 won 7 honorable mentions in Travel, Architecture, Sunset, and Others categories. Her Road Trip to Giza image was liked by the United Nations Photo Council. In February 2013, her "Scenes from Sunrise at Shwedagon Pagoda" Images won second place ArtHaus Photo Essay Category of 2nd Annual Mobile Photo Awards. Jen is one of EyeEm's ambassadors for Los Angeles and member of We Are JUXT mobile arts collective.
