Kris Grant is the publisher/editor-in-chief of Coronado Lifestyle magazine, a city magazine mailed to all residents and businesses of the upscale resort community of Coronado, California. The magazine is also distributed through the city's many hotels and inns, including the world-famous Hotel del Coronado. Grant founded the magazine in 2002, after serving nine years as director of the Coronado Visitors Bureau. She also is a feature writer for Inland Empire Magazine, the (print) regional magazine serving all of Riverside and San Bernardino counties, where she has had many of her celebrity profiles including pieces on Cameron Diaz, Johnny Depp, Stanley Tucci and Jeff Bridges featured on the magazine's cover. Grant also writes extensively in her magazine and for Inland Empire Magazine on travel, food and wine. Her background includes extensive free-lance writing for The San Diego Union-Tribune (now the U-T), including dozens of cover feature stories for the newspaper's food and travel sections.
